Hi everyone! I'm curious to know if anyone here has any experience with the vaccine that is being used to delay the spread of malignant melanoma? It's called the "Canine Melanoma Vaccine" and is used therapeutically with dogs that have oral melanomas. The last few weeks have been a roller coaster ride for us here in Oklahoma. The Sunday before Thanksgiving I noticed an unusual odor coming ...

Hi - we had DH's surgical follow up visit yesterday and got great news. The surgeon shared the biopsy results which had just come in an hour earlier saying there was no cancer in DH's lymph nodes. He also told us that he believes that he got all the melanoma because he received the pictures from the dermatologist confirming the location, and also the surgical biopsy confirmed this. I'm not ...

I didn't notice this little 'freckle' on my right nipple until after I started BFing my LO. And it has gradually gotten bigger, but now it's pretty much staying the same size. It doesn't hurt, but it's not circular. It's spread out, like a cluster. I am scared that it may be something more. I just hope I'm not freaking out and making a mountain out of a mole hill....

It's not a shape, it's all over the place. It's the color of a freckle, not raised, and it's on the side of my nipple, so it's the texture of my nipple. I am going to see what my OB says, and if thinks the derm needs to be seen, I guess we will do.

Just wondering if anyone here has had moles removed while pregnant? I had two moles removed last week. One on my stomach and one on my hip. Today I found out they are severe dysplastic nevus, which is one step before melanoma (skin cancer). So they now what to do surgery to dig the places out even more to make sure they get it all before it turns into cancer. They claim it is safe for the ...

Drop whatever you are doing and get to a doctor now! Melanoma is over 99% cureable if caught before it leaves the mole and travels throuhout your body where it is REALLY dangerous! My dad died of melanoma and if I knew then what I know now, he wouldn't have had to die from it. Time is VERY important in your case. Please hurry!
