Let me start by saying, im working on an experimental project...For this project i need a method of fuel delivery... EFI is not an option, too expensive and complex to get a working system together I could use a carburetor, but it does not suite my application very well and will yield poor results... So that leaves me at some type of mechanical system...I have limited knowledge of...

Just wonder if anyone ever ran or still runs mechanical fuel injection?? Hillborn? Enderle? Crower? would be pretty bitchen to see some stacks sticking out the hood of an old EB...

WTB - Pre heat tube/missing the mechanical fuel injection heat riser. (SSI) My 72T has relatively new SSI heater boxes but I've been told that that are the wrong ones / missing the mechanical fuel injection heat riser. Does anyone have these parts - sorry dont have part number but maybe also known as flapper box or pre heat tube ...

Sweet let us know and send pics! What are the dimentions for the radiator? I've eyeballing some of the older Audi 80 and 90s with the mechanical fuel injection and theres is pretty freakin narrow.

Today is Wednesdy and it sounds like we have a bitch reply going ( I like It ) well it would take along time to get any one up to speed on ele vs mechanical fuel injection so lets not fight over it. What it realy came down to is that it could be pulled from a juk yard and trans planted with little problems and dues I have a system that cost 50$ or less and doesn't need a lap top to tage along....
