Spurs PF Antonio McDyess recorded his best game of the season on Friday in a win at Houston. Starting for the fifth time in the last six games, McDyess scored a season-high 15 points and added his first double-double of the year with a season-high 14 rebounds. He shot 6 of 11 from the field and added two steals and a block. More...

HOUSTON (AP)San Antonio used a stretch of good, old-fashioned Spurs defense to earn its first road victory of the season. Tim Duncan and Antonio McDyess recorded double-doubles, and Tony Parker had 19 points and seven assists in the Spurs 92-84 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday. Duncan had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and McDyess added 15 points and 14 boards as the Spurs won for ...

Keith Bogans isn't good enough to be a 12th man much less starting. What's Popovich smoking? Start Mason or Finley. And as i've said before on other boards, McDyess is too light to be a center. Too old and light.

The Spurs played horrific, and still gave the Celtics all they could handle. No wonder the league don't lie when they say the LAKERS are a monster team compared to the Celtics. Kobe Ray Ginobili................Struggle Pau Kevin McDyess.........Struggle Bynum Perkin Duncan............Struggle Artest Paul...

Isiah put us in cap hell. He traded all our expirings (Ward, Eisley, Lampe, McDyess) for the huge contracts of Marbury and Penny, then he signed Crawford to a 7 year deal worth about 8.5 million per season... to BACKUP Marbury and Houston, he wasnt even supposed to start! It gets worse... he signs Jeffries to an awful deal worth the full MLE and then traded not one but two unprotected draft picks...

Dallas fan here. Blair was phenomenal. Incredible rebounder. About the best I've seen on any team, anywhere. Spurs are a team in "transition". That's the whole nutshell. Duncan is still a HOF player, and Parker is very good, but Ginobli is getting lost in the rotation and/or physically is just not the same. Jefferson is not a good fit for this team. He's meant to play in an open ...

haha.....you guys both said the same thing. The Lakers already have a deep frontcourt. I don't think there would be enough room for him to be honest. Well he would get that ring......he'll get some time........can easily replace Powell lol lol probably. I never knew he had a problem with Sheed signing with Boston though. That was interesting. Some of the Pistons ...
