I've enabled it, rebooted BB, rebooted computer, tried a different SD card, reformated the SD cards, tried using the 'BB Storage Activation New' program, uninstalled the drivers for RIM in device management...ooh and tried using a different cable. Nothing works. It connects and works fine with the Device manager. I think it used to work when ...

I had the same problem. I set the phone not to use Mass Storage Mode because I never could get it figured out. There's a setting under Options->Media Card to set "Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected" to No. I bought my Curve used, so I'm figuring that there's something wrong with the USB port.

Installing the motherboard (chipset) drivers should do the job for you although you should also install any other missing drivers. Get them from: 1. The device mftr.'s website; OR 2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR 3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you ...

If you haven’t tried this yet… now’s the time. Unplug all un-...
