Hello all: I have a Marlin Model 60 .22 rifle of an older model that holds 18+1 Rounds. It's a very accurate rifle in good condition of blue and wood, but I have to sell it off to pay off a loan to my brother. I'll sell the rifle for 110$ without the scope, and 130$ with the scope, which is a rimfire bushnell 3x9 variable scope. I can meet you personally this coming ...

> Hello everyone, just picked up a Marlin model 60 12 ga single shot shotgun. Tried to find out some info on line with poor results. Only info I got was they made then from 1923 to 1927. Does anyone know anything about these? Or maybe were there is some place on line that has info on these? Any info would be great. Thanks

I'm looking for a Marlin Model 60, plain and simple. As long as it's in good working condition (outside doesn't have to be pretty- but the inside of the barrel does), straight shooting, and ready to put some ruger 1022s to shame, I'm interested. I'm (somewhat newly) in Orange County, and don't mind driving to meet up. Thanks, Mike

I am debating between Ruger's 10/22 and the Marlin Model 60. I realize they are both good guns and many people own them. What are the pros and cons of each that will help me make my fianl decision.

Marlin Model 60 22 LR (early 80s model): $125 The Marlin Model 60 saw lots of use when I was a farm kid in Missouri...It's a good rifle, but definitely not in mint shape. No rust or anything like that (I always wiped my guns down with gun oil), but it has been carried in the woods, so barrel and receiver have little marks all over them. The wood is in excellent shape. Always shot real well...

I've had a few of these, but I had bought this gun a few months ago then sold it to a buddy of mine. I just bought it back last weekend, and moved the scope forward a little so I went and fired a few shots to make sure the scope was still on. This model 60 has a black synthetic stock that I painted and a Bushnell scope on it. These guns are very inexpensive and are really good shooters. I'm a...

> The only Model 60 Marlin shotgun I could find was a .410. The year of manufacture would put it close to the Model 1898 shotgun which was not marked there followed a number of Models that were numbered on the back strap. If it has a open hammer it is most likley one of thess models.A picture would be nice. Emmett

I am looking to trade these two guns for other guns. These are both in great shape, I am interested in Military surplus rifles in great shape and semi auto handguns. No BP, bows or junk.
