There's been quite a few threads about 18-50 but I've never seen anybody post anything about the 50-150. Does it have similar mechanics as the 18-50? Is it a re-housed stills lens? Also, Jeff K. posted something about significance of white vs. yellow markings on these lenses and I was curious to know what exactly does this tell us? The age/firmware of the lens? Hi, does anyone have information on all the markings that would have been on a 1969 Cougar right from the factory? I am interested in all decals, stickers(i.e. brake lines, fuel lines) Grease markings, etc. Anybody have any pictures from a resto? Thinking about doing some detail on the old coot(cat). Thanks, YOGI

Does anyone know the policy used by BOAC in selecting the markings (engraving) used on BOAC equipment. For example 131/83/xxx Where I believe xxx is the serial number. I am more interested on what is on instruments etc but any general information on the subject will be most welcome.

I have a VDO Cockpit serie water temperature gauge. To me, I said to me ok?, the markings are esoteric and nonsensical. The 200 degree mark is *almost* centered. OK. Can anyone tell me if these zones are illegal if the markings are not complete please? The image shows the situation on the ground and there are no signs on posts adjacent to the spot, although there are proper markings and signs further down the road. The location is Belle Vue Road in Leeds.

I have a 410 doa. barrel with engravings on gun but there are no other id marks except for the marks on the inside of gununder neath. the serial number has N F. after it. also it has a small stamped emblem of 2 guns in an x shape, engravings on outside of gun favor a flower lookingwith a long leaf. right side of barrel it says made in spain. can anyone help with brand, info,and or value?...

In an excel document, I want the top two rows to have one or two wide colums that go across the page, whilst the remainder of the rows have much narrower colums, up to 8 across the page - this will split the colums when shown and printed out- can this be done - must admit to be very new to Excel and all advice would be welcome.

I lost my cat Rori on Sunday nov 22,2009 in the early morning. I believe that my roomates let her out by accident when they came home. she is an indoor cat with no markings, she is not declawed and comes readily if you shake a bag of treats.
