@ doctorvee i think he's a better driver than sato... @ doctorvee i think he's a better driver than sato (which may not be the greatest compliment he's ever received), but much less marketable. about a year ago from Twhirl in context

The War on Poverty began with a $1 billion appropriation in 1964 and spent another $2 billion in the following two years. It spawned dozens of programs, among them the Job Corps, whose purpose was to help disadvantaged youth develop marketable skills; the Neighborhood Youth Corps, established to give poor urban youths work experience and to encourage them to stay in school; Volunteers in Service ...

IDK... I guess... Dont think those are marketable securities though, I think they're short term convertible debt. But depending on how short the term are on them... when they are converted and traded, the PPS could fall or rise imo

OT. The service life of a marketable product is highly dependent on consumer time preference. Cheap socks are not the only things that became less durable in recent years . . . even goods as big as houses and office/industrial buildings have become more cheaply put together in the past few decades compared to the gone by era. That's why I cringed every time a solidly built house from early 20th ...

I cannot argue that Joe is a lovely guy, and technically an excellent singer. But in terms of long term lasting in the charts, I just cannot see him lasting longer than Leon (big first album, and nothing after ,as his fans who vote for him cause his cute, a nice guy, from near them, will have moved on) and i say that as someone who loved Leon and thought he was unique enough to...

I liked lucie But you cant just make any old singer an "avril" type. To be even close to working as well as Avril you have to have attitude...lucie does not have that. Avril Lavigne may not be the best singer but she has the X factor for sure, a fantastic performer. Lucie, great voice and coudl work very well in the charts just not enough of an edge to be an ...

I am a career changer thinking on getting my MAT (or going lateral entry) for HS science. While I do not have a teaching undergraduate degree, I have been heavily involved in soccer coaching for the past 4 years. This experience, coupled with my prior background in the Navy, I am curious as to how an initial teaching license / experience with a MAT may be perceived to schools. Does anyone have...

What I am saying is that the days of Rock being a mainstream marketable commodity are gone. That is Rock as we knew it. Rock is always changing and it started to change from it's inception. Bill Hailey and the Comets Rock Around The Clock is sometimes considered the first Rock song. A white take on Mississippi Blues. From there we had the English Invasion. There was change. Rock is dead now....

Many books have already been adapted to screenplay, and weirdly enough too (though understandably marketable) many films have been adapted to books. I myself admit to owning a Grease (!!!) and P.S. I Love You books. Back to topic, which book(s) which you have read would make a good - if not an awesome - film? And why? "p

I was flipping through my pink nation mini-catalog thingy and spotted Danielle (winner of cycle 6) or "Dani" as she is called now in it! Good for her, this is a first since most antm winners either do nothing or just aren't marketable. if you look she is wearing an "i love parties" t-shirt.

Alexandra and JLS are both more talented and likable and marketable than this years contestants who are left. I really think Simon should just release an album of covers for Mothers Day, then give up on this winner and concentrate on establising Alex and JLS in 2010 then have a good winner in 2010

Nike wins no question. Does it get bigger than Serena, the biggest name in women's tennis, and Sharapova, the most marketable name. Nike straight up wins. Maria and Serena, Roger and Rafa, Kobe and LeBron (used to have Duncan and Garnett) and biggest ball name ever Michael Jordan, and the GOD of all things Nike- el Tiger Woods.
