I work in a gunshop and I've had this happen to me more than once ... "I carry a Glock on duty and want to get one to carry while I'm off duty. Do you have any Glocks?" I point to the Glocks. "Yeah, that is the one that I carry. Can I see it?" After handing him the gun ... "Where is the safety on this thing?" ME: "It has no manual safety." THEM (in ...

I'm looking for a DA/SA 9mm or .40 that has a decocker and manual safety (or some safety mechanism similar to the Bersa Thunder .380). What are your favorites?

and declared it 'perfection'? would you still buy and own one? While I like the G series, there is comfort in a smith 3913 in some situations.

I've been seriously thinking about the new SIG P238. I like the idea of a manual safety. I know there's good arguments for both sides considering DA, DA/SA, etc., but I am just more comfortable with the manual safety when carrying. I have a CZ P-01, and love it. I also have a 1911 that I really love. I practice with both, so I am used to one being a DA/SA and one being a SA/safety only. But I...

Does anyone have a HK USP45 without a manual safety. I like Glocks because all the safeties are passive and you can just go to work. Are there any HK USP45's in this same category? If so, please share. Post pics if possible showing the differences between the manual and passive safety HK's. Thanks.

Hi: I have a 03 745i. When I tried to rest the state safety inspection, I can not find it in the service reset manual (it only shows oil, brakes, filters etc). How do I get rid of the yellow car icon due to the state safety / emission inspection? Thanks, Leo
