So my car was backed into while in gear and the front bumper and hood was damaged. Hello! I have TD42 Nissan Safari with automatic transmission, i want to remake it to manual and then fit mechanic winch on it too. I use this car on heavy off-road, so automatic gearbox and electric winch doesn't work well. what do you think and advice me?

I am looking for advice re the best manual transmission to put behind a 1960 Buick 401 Nailhead. Apparently a T5 which was behind a 305 Chev engine will not take the torque?! I want to have a manual 4 or 5 speed tranny and am not interested in using the dynaflush trans that came with this 401.

Gentlemen, Just came back from a road trip and noticed an annoying rattle coming from the transmission shifter. When in 3rd or 5th the shifter vibrates side to side and creates a rattle.
