I am now doubting myself but I JUST PUT IT IN THE OVEN. I swear I've read many times of cooks who do not boil/cook their manicotti or lasagna pasta before assembling/filling it for baking. As I recall, they add water to the sauce so that the pasta absorbs it and cooks while baking. Now I'm wondering if I'm nuts. Has anyone done this? How long? what temp? any other hints. As...

Is there a trick to stuffing manicotti shells? I've only used them a couple times and I remember what a hassle it was and the frustration of them splitting! I just found a recipe I want to try for stuffed manicotti but I'm dreading trying to stuff them. Others that tried the recipe used jumbo shells instead. But if I can find the trick to stuffing manicotti I'd prefer using them. ...

spam reported and fwiw, you don't need to soak lasagna noodles at all - any kind. you can use regular lasagna noodles "raw" and just add a bit of extra sauce/liquid to the pan and cook the noodles while they bake.
