Greetings fellow tuggers, and thanks in advance for your help. I bought a Marriott on ebay (Kauai Beach) a few months ago. It being Hawaii, it is taking forever for the transfer. Supposedly it is now with the state (county?) for recording. Anyway, I am wondering if there is going to be trouble with this as it seems most of you have already gotten your maintenance bill. I want to use my ...

The depressed valuations at Beachplace Towers is again helping the HOA keep annual fees somewhat in check just as it has the past two years. The $29 drop in property tax is helping to offset the $60 increase in MF's. Good news is that they are putting about half of the net increase back into the reserve. Overall not too bad. .................................. 2009 .......... 2010 RESERVE...

I know it has been answered in the past, but I am new to this situation and would hope for some correct input. I can no longer vacation due to the economy and hence I no longer want this timeshare. It has been paid off for many years and I am paying maintenance fees for naught. I cannot sell it or give it away even though it is in a great tourist location. I have gotten no response from the ...

I did not have all of the details on what was the cost for each size unit and the maintenance fees for each unit. How about listing your highest Cost of a Week and Maintenance fee for 2010 for any unit you own? ...

We haven't complained about high routine maintenance fees lately I'll get us started with my recent 45,000 mile service for $389. Now this is really a oil and filter change, rotate and balance tires, new wiper blades and new cabin filter. A long list of checks to the car. At $110/hr does anyone really think I am getting at least 2.5 hours of service? Has anyone asked to be present during a ...

I recently received my maintenance fees for Royal Palms for 2010, and noticed a significant increase in fees to fund Vacation Way. The reason given for this increase is it will be used to build new exercise facilities. Since all of the Palms owners have access to a great fitness facility at the World Center Hotel, this does not appear to be a reasonable expense. I am suspicious that Marriott is ...

Just got my bill for SBP two bedroom lock off. Maintenance fees went from $908 to $1103. $184.98 they are listing as replacement reserve. They can call it whatever they want. Either way owners are getting screwed. Again.

The units are small one bedroom units with a good location. Next to Kapiolani park and a block and a half to the beach. The units are in a tall condo building and are not fancy but clean, comfortable, well managed and trade great. f interested Email ...
