I wouldn't have believed it, had I not just seen it. Was driving into town and saw one of the Kool-Aid mainliners with a bumper sticker that said "2012" with that dippy Boyking "O" logo. The asshole hasn't even completed his first year in office, let alone first term.

Quoting CMK10 ( Reply 23 ): This route is 489 miles. And I cannot believe that someone is complaining about them on TLH - ATL or SYR - JFK . Very fair point for a short haul. But there is more to it than that. These are flown by connection carriers (ASA, ComAir, etc) and a study of the DOT statistics show more delays, cancellations, etc, on these flights. This is not ...

Got this in an e-mail. Just thought I'd pass on the information. Quote: Gerin Oil (or Geriniol to give it its scientific name) is a powerful drug which acts directly on the central nervous system to produce a range of symptoms, often of an anti-social or self-damaging nature. It can permanently modify a child's brain to produce adult disorders, ...

Progressive churches that refocus on the needs of the unchurched are growing, he said. "The depiction that all the mainliners have lost the Bible, and are too progressive, and so ...

mea wrote: Well, I disagree, as *all* Christians should be fundamental and evangelical, and I still want to know who the "mainstream Protestant churches" are. I'm no expert here, but if it is confusing you remember that "mainline" is just a name. It's mostly a (recent) historical title. These older, more established (and generally more liberal) denoms were more mainline and mainstream ...

It's hard to tell in the quiet of a color-splashed autumn morning, but Redeemer Fellowship Church is trying to set roots in a rough neighborhood. For churches, anyway. Until this new church opened last month, its 19th-century Congregational church building in suburban Watertown was empty for nearly two years. Just across the street, a closed Baptist church is filled with condos. So is a former ...
