I have paired my magic mouse but I prefer to turn it off when not in use (as the battery life is dropping quickly). However, every time I turn it off I need to pair it with my iMac again. Is this normal? imac and macbook air ...

via MacNN: The Magic Mouse may be behind rapid battery drain on Apple's wireless keyboards, support forum complaints suggest. The keyboards are typically said to last several months on a single set of batteries, but after installing a Magic Mouse, battery life may shrink down to a span of two to three weeks or less. In extreme cases, users may have to replace batteries every week.......

I can't get the magic mouse to pair with the G5. It's with the D-Link external blue tooth. I installed the updates for the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse, and all I get is a blinking mouse for 3 minutes then it shuts off. The regular wireless mouse works fine. Any clues where to look? G5 PPC...

Brand new, still sealed in plastic. Asking $150 for all three devices, normally would cost $230 at retail. (1) Apple's new multi-touch Bluetooth Magic Mouse (1) Apple Aluminum Bluetooth Keyboard (newest one that takes only 2 AA batteries) (1) Apple Remote Really nice aluminum desktop trio, completely wireless! KB & M will last 4 months on a single set of AA batteries, all 3 devices ...

Figured I'd buy a Magic Mouse for my Mac Pro. Drove the 150 miles home from the Apple store with my much coveted Magic Mouse only to discover my Mac Pro has no Bluetooth capabilities. Yup, I've got four iMacs, one Mac Mini and a Mac Book Pro and the Magic Mouse will work on all of 'em but not my high-end Mac Pro Apple Care said I need an airport card, MA688Z/B. I checked the web, can ...

So yesterday I got myself an iMac 21.5 and I absolutely love it. I was getting accustomed to the magic mouse and even created myself a hand position I would always use to go back and forward in Safari. Today I turn on my computer and the back/forward two finger scrolling won't work anymore! Scrolling the page up and down with one finger still works perfectly. Checked system prefs, 2 finger ...

Finally managed to get my hands in the Magic Mouse. Looks and feels great but sadly is quite useless out of the box. Some links that would help to make it work properly: Middle click allows you to tap the mouse with three fingers to activate expose, this also allows your to do the same on the trackpad http://clement.beffa.org/labs/downloads/MiddleClic k.zip BetterTouchTool is ...

Magic mouse: Tap to click You know something that has always bothered me is the loud and obnoxious clicking sound which happens whenever you click with a mouse. Unfortunately for me my new magic mouse is louder than previous mice I've used. When I use the mouse at school during class, or at the library the noise is very noticeable, ...

One thing I've noticed with my magic mouse is that I can't click the far, far right side (along the edges of the mouse on the right side). Is this normal? It just wont click, it doesn't even make a 'click' sound when I try to click any part of the right edge of the mouse. I can click the right side, just not near or on the edges of the right side. I'm not sure if this is a problem or just ...

After having used both for about a week, I can say that: They paired without incident, they work flawlessly, and the Magic Mouse is very intuitive and easy to use. My wife, who has a tough time with some things technical, took to the Magic Mouse right away - no problems - she loved it from the get-go. Congrats, Apple, on a design well-implemented!...

Not sure where this goes, there's no section or might mouse on the forums. Every time I turn my computer to sleep it almost always instantly comes back off sleep again to the password screen. This only happens when I have mighty mouse installed, and it doesn't matter if I leave the mouse completely still or not, 9 times out of 10 it will go out of sleep mode as soon as it is asleep....

I'm not sure if it's the iMac, the bluetooth receiver, or the operating system... However, my Magic Mouse will hit about 2-3 seconds on inactivity every 20-30 seconds. For example, I'm moving the cursor across the screen and mid way through it will stop, and then suddenly start moving again. Same goes with the keyboard. It works, stops suddenly, then starts working again. On a ...
