Changed the oil & filter in my CB400 and, looking at the old filter (which was done by a local metric shop), began wondering who made it. Can't take a picture of it, but it was pretty nondescript...other than the word "Canada" printed on both metal endcaps. Nothing else was written or stamped on it. Anybody know who might have made this filter? I'm sure it's fairly obvious to all, 'cept me......

Original made in Canada Sorels. Hard to find. Very little use. Wool liners. The size stamp is not legible, but we're pretty sure these are size 6 women's. $40 plus shipping.

The way manufacturing works I seriously doubt anything made today is from any one place. Designs are often done in one country, bits and pieces in another, raw materials from another and the actual assembly in another. That doesn't bother me one bit as long as I get a quality product.
