I have an MTAC holster and I was about to buy a beltman 1.5" belt. I was curious what types of clips you use for your MTAC and why. I'm trying to see the advantages to different clips, who uses what and why instead of buying each kind and trying them. Maybe I can narrow my selection this way and avoid wasting money.

I have an itch to get a P229R at some point in my future. I currently have a non-railed P228 that I'd like to be able to carry in my MTAC. So, I'd like to purchase an MTAC body. However, I would like to be able to use this holster for either pistol. Obviously the P229R will not fit in a holster body made for a non-railed pistol. So my question is, for those of you with MTACs for P229R who also ...

I was hoping someone here on the forum would be able to do a quick check for me. Will a non rail Sig fit properly in a rail model MTAC holster? For example will a German P220/226 fit well in a P220R/226R MTAC? Thanks!

Does Comptac make a version of the Mtac which will work with a P220 Carry SAS II? I looked on their sight, and they have a version that will fit a standard railed Carry but not the non rail.

Hi, is anyone using the Comp Tac Minotaur MTAC Holster with a 3 inch 1911? I have the holster for a H&K USP and think it's terrific. What is your opinion with a small 1911? I am thinking about changing the kydex shell to fit a new Kimber Ultra Carry II. Thanks in advance.

I think I might go with the MTAC because it has leather that goes down further to cover the the end of the gun. The holster I use now is just a cheap nylon Uncle Mike's IWB, but the main problem is the gun (G23) digs into my hip and is very uncomfortable because the end is not covered. It just seems like if the leather covers up all of the gun you won't have anything digging into ...

My mtac holster came today.Three days after I received the e-mail saying they were shipping it !! Seems to be comfortable.I'm carrying an xd .45 compact.

I've heard very good things about the supertuck, and Mark's an outstanding guy. I had an MTAC, and switched to a DM Bullard Dual-Carry, which is an all-leather owb/iwb/tuckable. I wear it iwb/tuckable, and it is very comfortable, conceals very well, and provides excellent retention.

Also, comparing the weight - if I can stick around 30+/- ounces I would be fine. The MTAC isn't much wider then a supertuck (has a backing piece of leather) but is a very comfortable holster. In fact, I wouldn't even know it was there until I put the gun in place and then the pants get really tight! Maybe I should loose a little weight right?

I can't drive for very long with my MTAC at ~4:00 and my P2000 holstered. Quite uncomfortable for me. Then again, my Tacoma's seats leave something to be desired. I wonder if the Japanese back is different from the American or something..

The Crossbreed Supertuck is often mentioned in the same breath as the MTAC when IWB holster recommendations are passed out. The Supertuck is available for the HK45 and 45c. Strangely, the CompTac CTAC holster, which is all kydex, IS available for the HK45. Not sure why the MTAC isn't, as you'd think it would be easier to mold a half shell than both sides of a full holster. But I had the same...

If you want Kydex look at Raven Concealment Phantom, Comp-Tac MTAC. Maybe Alessi, I heard their wait times were pretty short right now.

I have one for a Glock 19. I just sold the pistol, but kept the holster because the guy who bought it didn't have enough cash for me to include the holster. I like it. I have a MTAC, as well, and it seems very comparable.
