Upgraded xp computer to windows 7 (clean install). Lost my MSN software in the process. Downloaded "FIOS with MSN" to my desktop. When I try to run the installer, it stops and tells me my OS doesn't meet minimum requirements. Apparently doesn't recognize 7 yet. When I right click to run in xp compatibility mode, it hangs up immediately with " not signed in as administrator". Not a life or death...

In W7 when you try to do this within My Pictures it tells me no email client go to your control panel and set one up. Using ...

First, you need to delete the software, from Add/Remove programs in XP or Programs and features if you have Vista. After delete the program, you need to remove the msn folder from program files. The last step is go to run and type %appdata%, if you use Vista, then go to All Programs, Accesories, Run, type %appdata% ,of course you can go...

I made the switch from MSN Premium to Windows Live with no fuss. But, sometimes, MSN Premium get "activated" and wants me to sign in. Huh? So, how do I eliminate this. And, I hope this doesn't freak anything else out. ALSO: Now that I haven't logged in via my MSN Premium, I can't use my MSN Picture It! program which came with it. Help! Yes, I have 2 issues. *sorry* -Lee

Hi Betty - In addition to the recovery DVDs you burned, there should be a recovery partition on your system - probably drive d: Vista is very easy to re-install using the DVD or recovery partition (hit the F10 key during boot-up). In the meantime to hopefully give you some breathing room, please follow the advice given by joeten and Michael York . I would also suggest running...
