I am doing HD projects on PE 4. I have posted difficulties re Stop markers already. Can anyone tell me the difference between buring a bluray disc on preset H264 1080i and MPEG2 1080i. It does not have anything to do with the marker problem.

Hi all, Working in a Ex3 live to tape environment and want to use the BM Decklink studio to ingest the live cut from the switcher. We are using the SQ from the EX3 cam through SDI but can't use Mjpeg because I am noticing the color different between 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 shift and saturation. this is a problem because I back up the isolates recorded from the camera in sony .mp4 format and fix ...

Thank you in advance. I searched for an hour and couldn't find a good answer to encoding HD to SD mpeg 2 for DVD Studio Pro. Looks like HDV is a pain but I'm not working with HDV. Thank goodness. My source is a 1k proxy .R3D ref in a prores HQ timeline at 23.98. How can I know I have the best settings for going to 720x480 mpeg2? I used compressor right off the timeline to ...

24p capture with vegas platinum I capture all my footage with vegas and I'm unable to perform the pulldown using any of the programs or methods previously mentioned. (error messages 00000 or aegp plugin aaf error) I shoot with a HV20 NTSC camera, but render as a PAL MPEG2. Aside from the pulldown issue, I am unable to render my projects...

Hey guys and girls. SO the problem im having is ive got a blu ray project file that weighs in at 23.94Gb exactly. The motion menu file im using is 584Mb in size, pre transcoded to MPEG2. I am working in FCS2. I have a 4 minute piece that originated in HDV 1080i60* and was edited in HDV, I had no problem converting it to MPEG2 for the DVD (through Compressor using the standard Best Quality DVD settings) but I can't for the life of me get the aspect ratio to come out right when I try to export for the web. I am attempting to create two versions, one for Vimeo which can be full ...

I am using Verbatim BD-R and BD-RE for Blu-ray. Both behave the same way. Stop markers not recognised. In the past I have used other types for DVDs but found that when using Nero to burn DVDs they verify at the end of burning more reliably than other brands that I have used. As a result I ordered a batch of Verbatim Blu-ray when I started doing Bluray.
