I downloaded ffdshow and the MatroskaSplitter to play MPEG-4 files and media player will still not play. I have DivX installed on my computer. Should I uninstall it? What am I doing wrong? System information says the ffdshow codec is working OK. Thank you, David ....

I am trying to open a file with the extension .3GP, It gave me the error listed above. I downloaded " MPEG-4 Video (mp4v) codec", and verified that it is installed via the tech support info found in the help menu. The video still will not play. Please help!! 1 person needs an answer I do too
