My son is supposed to get the MMR vaccine this month and I am so scared of it and him having a reaction. We delayed it 3 months (he is going to be 15 months on the 7th) and I am considering delaying it til 18 months.

So I was told in the beginning of my pregnancy that my bloodwork showed my immunity to Rubella (German Measles) had apparently worn off even though I was vaccinated as a child, and that I would need to get vaccinated again after I gave birth. Since that time is getting closer, I started researching the topic a little, and I am little leary on some of what I am reading to say the least. I ...

There is so much out there to make you paranoid about this thing! I was just wondering if you're choosing to vaccinate, delay, or refuse MMR and why. Also if you have already vaccinated what side effects did your kids have if any? Thanks.

May I ask about the side effect of MMR. It was discontinued in in Japan but my child received it prior to the discontinuation. I read one report from a parent who said after the vaccine his child slept for a long period of time and then afterwards became very violent. Is this reaction sometimes occuring as a side effect. And why was the MMR discontinued in your opinion? Looking forward to your ...

I had all my necessary vaccinations when I was a child, but with my first pregnancy I tested negative for the MMR immunization, so I had to get that vaccine before I checked out of the hospital after I had DD. All's well that ends well, right? I just got my lab results in for this pregnancy, and I'm testing negative for the immunization again! What's with that? I just got these results in the...

Has your child received or going to receive the MMR vaccine? I have been reading up on this vaccine and have heard it can cause autism (or many believe it can/does) so I was wondering how many of you gave your child this vac? How did they react to it? Please vote and explain why you chose to get them vaccinated or why you chose not to. Thanks!

You know, what they are trying to do is force people to go w/ the MMR for whatever reason. Most likely so they can keep spewing that the MMR is safe thus no need for the monovalent M M R. I pray people stand up for themselves and their children and refuse. That would force their hand. If they want "compliance" so bad, they may have to listen to the people, just once!

Even without Offits book, Wakefield's study only consisted of 12 and they all had autism. None of the children didn't have autism. Of all the studies out there that state this that or the other that everyone disagree's with, why any would find this one study os 12 valuable. The study was critically flawed and had conflict of interest in which Wakefield was making a mint from being paid by ...
