Here's what i'm wondering. Mk4's are all over the junkyards right now. I don't really want to pay ~$200 for the conversion kit. (which is totally reasonable, i just don't feel like spending all that right now). -mk4 calipers can use mk3 carriers -mk4 calipers have a banjo fitting as opposed to the screw in mk3 style SO: -are the hoses in these 'kits' just oem mk4 hoses? or are they a special ...

I've started the conversion of fitting my mk4 with a c20xe and i'm going to retain the F20.. Just wondering if anyone has done / or has any advice regarding converting the F20 to hydralic or keeping it cable? The box fitted to the car i believe is the F13 (dti) as it doesn't fit over the XE flat flywheel / cover plate.
