Hello all, After searching the posts, I think I know the answer, but would just like to verify (set-up listed below): Can GB08 recognize my specific keyboard (Roland XP-10) and its unique voices? I can play and recieve midi properly, but am limited to GB's voices. I specifically miss my fiddle...I guess I could simply play into a real instrument track through the line-in, but ...  |

Everything works but the music keyboard and the keyboard shortcut. Uninstall the program , reboot then empty the recycle bin (you may also have to go to computer, local disc c, program files, CREATIVE and then delete Prodikeys PC-MIDI and empty recycle bin). Now put the install disc back in your drive BUT DO NOT INSTALL YET. Now go to my computer and then the rom drive showing CREATIVE, ... |

i am using ''Edirol PCR-M1 midi keyboard controller , it works fine and its very good the only bad thing is it has only 25 Keys so i am asking for suggestions on a new midi controller , could be gg if u post a price also thx |

Title pretty much says it all. I'm a newb when it comes to recording equipment and software but I have the keyboard already. What I don't know about is the cables, interfaces and software I'm gonna need to buy. Pretty much, what the hell am I gonna need if I want to start recording synth tracks etc with my keyboard? If it's not too much trouble Also, I'll be using a mac. |

Hello, I've posted on here before and had awesome help so thanks in advance. Currently, using windows XP, I installed FL Studio8 and everything's been working fine. I finally had time to hook up my MIDI keyboard yesterday and it worked great with FL Studio. I rebooted my laptop today and received a BSOD that read: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL WIN32K.SYS NDIS.SYS... |

OK... you're presumably driving a virtual instrument / synth . As you may know, different virtual instruments can have wildly varying processing times for a note. A simple wavetable playback synth may have next to no turnaround time... a complex modeling synth may have a considerable internal latency. As noted, having the right driver set-up is crucial. When I had this problem it was when I was using the EWQL Symphonic Play Edition with a Motu Ultra Lite. There were multiple places to set the sample rate, but only one source functioned as the master clock. I had the Motu's master engine set to 48k and the Play engine set to 44.1k. The MainStage patches were out of tune with the Play patches by that predictable ratio.... |
