Is there a way to sort the METAR list? I've selected on the option "Automatically display METAR of active airports". In the list I would very much like that the most used airports have their METARs displayed at the top. What controls how the list is sorted? It is -almost- alphabetical. Thank you

In certain situations I cannot get a METAR from the server. Other controllers do get it so it is available on the server (also tried the manual URL http://metar.vatsim.net/data/metar.php?id=EDDF ) For example: I try to connect, but the position is taken, so the server responds "callsign in use" METARs show "loading..." I connect to another position METARs still "loading..." There are other ...

Anyone else noticed their METAR updating, then updating again to an hour old METAR, then updating back to the current METAR? It's happened to me twice in the last 10 days. This morning the METAR updated to 1556Z, then went back to 1456Z, then back to 1556Z.

Hi, I have a Luna Digital meter I use for photography. Recently I purchased a Canon HD camcorder that has aperture/depth-of-field controls. My question: if I took an ambient reading with the Luna for a particular video scene, would dialing those numbers onto the camcorder produce 100% accurate exposure? Thanks.

Quoting NA ( Reply 253 ): Ok, now I found there is direct link that works. But oddly that one expects the 787 to fly for another 3 hours! Nothing odd about it - the flight plan was filed for 5.5 hours. We're sitting under a "nice" high pressure zone (East Coast). Clear blue skies, but cold. Wind has calmed down, was a buggah couple of days ago, was 8F wind chill (about -15 in furrin'speek) . No snow on the horizon, Canucks keeping it all for themselves. METAR KEWR 181651Z 34003KT 10SM FEW120 SCT140 SCT250 M02/M17 A3025

No wind with fog and no temp/dewpoint spread makes for a very interesting landing.
