Hi, I found a set of HD videos on youtube - well worth watching in my opinion. Recorded on Scandinavian Airlines flights from and to Copenhagen. Every flight is split up in several parts, I've linked Part 1 each time and you can skip through them all. Make sure to watch in HD 1080p and fullscreen. Quality is superb! I hope these videos have not been posted yet! A search with ...

When McDonnell Douglass designed the 717, did they change the airfoil from the design of the MD80 series? I noticed that the 717 wingspan is shorter than the MD80. It almost seems as if McDonnell Douglass would have been able to compete with the A32X/73X if they had lengthened the wingspan and created stretched versions. Or maybe they should have shrunken the MD90 to add more range? I know ...

Wow, this is like.... where to begin? Quoting ElpinDAB ( Thread starter ): When McDonnell Douglass designed the 717, MD did not "design the 717." MD designed the MD95. It was only AFTER Boeing purchased MD , only AFTER Boeing decided to continue offering the MD95 acft and only AFTER Boeing engineers made hundreds of changes that the MD95 became (finally) the Boeing B...

Venezolana has started flying to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Flights are now bookable through their website, www.ravsa.com.ve. My guess is that it'll be operated with a mix of MD80/732. Best of luck to them in this new destination. Saludos, Luis

Most of my models are plastic, I prefer them because I think that plastic mould are more detailed, especially as it regards the wings and the rudder of tail. Particularly, as I have said other times, I don't like absolutely the connection between wings and fuselage (I agree completely with Johna340 for this). Besides, often diecast have problems with form of nose (see L1011, B767) and ...
