I'll be needing a decent mATX AM3 board, preferably DDR3 as well. Doesn't have to support CFX. Probably gonna pair it with a 955BE. Gonna replace my Q6600 system, if I do sell it.

Need to build a new computer at work to replace the aging P3 that I am using now Looking for a LGA 775 mATX board to replace the one currently in my q-pack that doesn't take Core2's and something like an E8400 I guess. Needs to have 64bit support. Not looking to spend a ton of money. I have a Penditum D 915 and a Gigabyte 8II945GMF mATX board for sale. I still have the retail box ...

Atx and mAtx: Big difference? Originally I thought on getting the Gigabyte P55 UD3R ATX mobo for $150, but then I found a microATX UD2 motherboard, with almost the same specs. What's the main difference? Should I go with the UD2 and save $20? Edit: Also found this MSI CD53 motherboard. Specs: i5 720 4GB DDR3 Ripjaws ...

Well I have a p180 mini case and I wanted to do a new AMD quad core build cept I dont know that many solid mATX boards for the AM3 chipset since I was going to put an i7 in it. Cept I dont really see me needing that much CPU power and this route should save me 2-300 dollars. So my question is, can anyone give my any good recommendations of boards they are using for an AM3 socket using an ...

Does anyone know of a case that is about the side of a matx case but can take low profile cards WITHOUT an internal power supply? I need to find a chassis to fit this motherboard into, using a single pci-e expansion board for now (Texas Instruments chipset Firewire), a DC-DC converter placed somewhere internally (above the ram slots is fine - I will mount this) and I will find some way to mount ...

Hey [H]. With Black Friday coming up I was going to look into starting a build over time. I want to build an mITX/mATX rig, so when DaBox by mattinv comes out I can fit a rig in there. I don't know much about the newer processors i7+, and I haven't ever fooled around with SFF builds so I have no idea where to start. *edit* I was wrong the case is for mATX however there will be a mITX ...

ASRock announced three new H55 boards, designed to utilise Intel's upcoming Clarkdale Core i7 and Core i5 LGA 1156 processors. The H55M Pro and H55M are rather similar mATX with varying feature sets. The Pro version has 4 DDR3 slots, 2 Firewire connectors, 1 eSATA port and ASRock DuraCap capacitors. The H55M has just two memory slots and no Firewire, but it offers 2 eSATA ports and all-solid...

you don't need anything all powerful for that set. Most ATi or Nvidia intergrated with an mATX mobo and el-cheapo CPU will do that. Look into AMD's maui platform. The motherboard has the integrated TV tuner that you're looking for.
