I did a search for some of this and was not able to find what I am looking for.  I have a 99 Golden Tee (25" Monitor cab) that I am turning in to a MAME cabinet.  This is my first arcade cabinet/MAME cabinet. I want to run the monitor directly off the power strip and the VGA card built in to my donor computer. My conflict is a couple things, I have looked at most monitors and the only...

I am just configuring my cabinet and recently tried VPinball with PinMAME and was wondering how everyone has configured their buttons? I will probably put "flipper" buttons on the side of my cab.  I will probably put two buttons on each side of the cabinet, one for the left/right flipper and one to left/right tilt.  Also in the Black Knight game it uses magnets, so they tilt buttons ...

Hi All, First and foremost, I hope I did not blow it myself, which scares the living daylights out of me. Let me explain; Got a Mame cabinet of Ebay and knowing PC's and all, I upgraded the mame, which was 4 years old and also the Mamewah FE, with also the resolution tool. After using this successful combination a few times, I noticed that Mamewah would crash and I would have to ...

Newbie question...Getting ready to build my first mame cabinet and I was wondering what the minimum computer requirements would have to be? I am interested in only running the basic emulators, mame, nes, snes, etc.  I also plan on building my own arcade controls. I have already purchased a 22 inch, flat screen CRT??  Am I ok on this one? As for as the computer goes? 1) 2.0 ghz to ...

The existing monitor that was in the machine sounds like it might be going out.  The guy I bought machine from said if you leave the machine on for "awhile" (not sure what awhile is) that it either starts to go dim or colors go off. The video card is an onboard video card (not sure what type havent started setting up that computer yet). I agree that LCD's arent found in 4:3 format ...

I have 2 buttons per side.  1 flipper and one tilt.  I use a real pinball plunger (mapped to ENTER) and also a center tilt button as well that is on the front of the control panel and is easy to bump when playing pinball. I have all of my pinball buttons tied into my normal control panel buttons.  My right flipper and tilt is tied to player 4, left is tied to player 3.  5 = credit, 1 =...

I'm after a couple as I want to do something similar, but can only find the wire-frame ones that hang on the side of the cab. http://www.marineeast.com/a_sch/sch_det.asp?cid=11 &pid=11_01 Cheers!
