You might have got some earlier choke tubes with your 2000 that were poorly heat-treated. These poorly heat-treated
chokes would peen into the barrel as they were used, and they are a mother-f to get out once that happens. If you let it go long enough you'll have to send your barrel back to Stoeger to have them fix it. Since you manged to get yours out, give Stoeger a call and see if you can...
