Hi Weekender- I agree- the l'Abbaye looks lovely, but the reason I'm staying away from l'Abbaye is the lack of queen beds. We are both quite tall and a double bed just doesn't work for us. A queen even falls a bit short- but we'll consider it part of the "Paris" experience. From my communication with the Hotel de l'Abbaye- I understand they only have double beds in their hotel. I never had any problems in London. BBC Radio London (now Sunrise Radio) also used 1458 with 50 kW from Brookmans Park. I was very well processed (Optimod at transmitter site 'tuned' to the transmitter rather than just the one in Broadcasting house as used for the BBC AM networks).
