Is a 12-day luteal phase too short to sustain a pregnancy? We've been TTC baby #3 for 3 months now, and I'm pretty sure I'm out for this month, too, as I think AF is knocking. Based on a positive OPK, I have a pretty good idea of when I ovulated. We DTD on a good schedule, and I even had brownish/red CM 9dpo (I assumed from an implant). But last month, and I think this ...

Well I was super excited yesterday (9DPO) because I first thought I might have had some implantation spotting, well the spotting definitnely turned into AF. I'm really disappointed andthe problem is, my Luteal phase has been 12 days since we've started trying again. We've been actively trying since about March, so I'm concerned why all of a sudden it's gone to 8 days. I know this is not ...

CD 1 for me today. Yesterday was CD 21. http://www . fertility friend .com/home/ science fic tion I have heard it said on here that luteal phase is constant and I believe it, because since I've been charting my luteal phase has always been 13 days. This month FF says it's 11 days. So, if it's really 13 days and I Ovulated two days earlier that means I Ovulated the day after my ...

I'm so excited, I got BFP this morning...but now I'm scared.  AF was due 12/03.  Of course she didn't come.  My OPK wasn't positive until 11/28.  Is this a luteal phase defect?  I'm so scared this is going to lead to a miscarriage.  Help!

Hey everyone, Totally gutted because AF arrived this morning. it means I've had a really bizarre cycle. According to my temps I ov'd on day 19 and then only had an 8 day luteal phase. The ov day is normal for me (it's normally somewhere between 14 and 22 days), but normally my luteal phase is bang on 14 days every month. I'm taking B6 already and was thinking of trying AC this...

Due in August

Well after charting this month and looking back to last month, I realize I have a 10 day luteal phase, with spotting for the last 4 days of it-- so I'm going to start some progesterone cream and Vitamin B6 and hopefully lengthen my luteal phase long enough to sustain a pregnancy. This is a big frustrating-- we conceived my daughter while not preventing but not trying-- so ...

Hey ladies, I've been watching the board with all of these support group threads and it occured to me that there isn't one for us who have short luteal phases.  I discovered my 6 day LP in October after my first month of charting.  My dr won't see me till next month so I am in TTC purgatory until I can get in with her.  What that means is I still try in hopes that my LPD resolves, knowing full ...

Hi hun, are you sure its your af arrived? Could it be an implant bleed as that could happen about day 8? Please don't take this as confirmation of pg but I'd be tempted to give it a couple days before you write this month off. 8 days is short for a lp so maybe check with the doctor? Keep us posted hun

I am 30 years old and my husband is 32, and we have been trying to conceive since having a missed miscariage and D & C in June 2009.  So 6 months but only 5 cycles and still no pregnancy. Since the miscariage my cycles were longer, from 28 days to 33, and I also have a shorter luteal phase. As I am charting I notice that I start to spot Birthmarks - pigmented Liver spots ...

Hi girls! I just popped over from TTC to ask if any of you had any experience of this. I have noticed from charting my cycles that my LP is only 8 days and getting shorter! I am going to see my docs about it but I don't know if he will do anything because we have only been TTC for 4 months. I know I have no right to complain after so little time but I don't want to TTC for another ...

we have been trying for 3 years now, both myself and my DH have been told there is nothing wrong with us except a short luteal phase for me... i had a lap and Dye 14 months ago which showed no problems and we have had 2 unsucessful IUI's since then. Last April I decided I had had enough of conventional Fertility treatment and I have been attending an holistic natural fertility clinic. ...

ovulation usually occurs 14 days before your period starts, so not likely to be that unless you have a really short luteal phase. Have never ehard of ovulating making you feel sick either. Sorry not much help.

Dear Dr. Ramirez, I am taking clomiphene to strengthen my ovulation (I have a luteal phase defect and secondary infertility). I some questions for you about clomiphene. This is my 4th cycle on clomiphene 50mg d3-7. I have ovulated on days 18, 19, 20, and 16 (current cycle). The cycle where I ovulated on day 18, I conceived and miscarried at 5 weeks. I have no symptoms of being pregnant. I've tested and bfn . No implantation dip or bleeding, no triphasic chart. I feel like I'm out for this month. But there is a small glimmer of hope in that my usual luteal phase is 10 days, I have had an 11 day luteal phase before but on those I had experiencied spotting day before and woke up to full on af . My question is has it worked for you girls? i'm finding a few posts where girls are really anti AC but none really have adequate reasons. ALSO how much do you all take? the bottle says 1-3tablets per day and that is a bit vague to me..... Betheney
