Can anyone think of any good exercises to do on the lunge to improve position. I have a few of my own but I'm always open to suggestions and ideas (two heads are better than one, and all that!) The rider is the girl who has started loaning one of my horses, she is 17yo, ridden for years but very "riding schooly" - ie she can walk/trot/canter competantly but lacks straightness/total seat ...

What are your ideas, do's&dont's,how to's etc about teaching your horse to lunge. what should they know beforehand, how would you go about it with a timid horse. Do you consider this an important part of a horses training. why why not? and whatever else you have to say about it! I know how to lunge a horse, I have done it many times. I do 20 minutes of intense cardio. but in addition, I do a 30 minute exercise video which gets my heart rate up slightly. should I do that or 10-15 minutes of intense cardio of my won 'made-up' exercises like squats, push ups, sit ups, lunge,s jmuping, etc. Which is better? Either I don't have them, or they've gone into hiding and won't come out! Hey guys! i've recently purchased a new 08 A3 2.0T on 7/24/08. Car came with about 100 miles and now have about 2.2k miles. Heres the issue.. When driving in maybe 4th 5th or 6th gear all around 4-5k RPM the DSG seems to lunge forwards and backwards as if its confused if it should shift up... then suddenly shift down then up again... feels weird... like somethings slipping. friend ...

Not surprisingly, the Colts haven't been fined for either the punch that preceded Brown's "cheap shot", or for the lunge at Young's knees when he was hurt. Had that been Brady or Manning's knees, you gotta believe at least a 10k fine would have been dished out... possibly as early as this past Monday morning.

Hi everyone, My girl friends 95 winstars runs great and idles fine EXCEPT when the heater is on or AC is on. It will surge/lunge pretty bad(you would spill coffee)where we have to turn off to let the car idle smooth. Notice it when we are stopped or coming to a stop.Say at 25MPH or faster do not notice this issue... any help be great Ty very much, Whit

I have a 06 SCrew 5.4 4x4 with 77k miles on it. Just recently I've notice it shudder/lunge a bit when moving slowly and turning (like going into a parking spot). ok, so ive been hearing how people hate when you can lunge so far forward with a knive. well i think that with a knive its fine, but when you get killed by a riot sheild because of commando, its not right. i watch the kill cam and the dudes like 15 feet away from me and he manages to kill me still.
