I woke up last night and looked at my Ocean7 LM-4 (with a generous application of C3 lume) and it just about blinded me. The lume on this watch is amazing. But it got me to wondering how long that lume is going to retain its properties? What is its effective lifetime? Will it wax and wane over time? Does anyone have any insight into this?

How long does it take to charge the lume under an artificial light? How close does it have to be to the bulb? Will it last longer or have a shorter run than under natural daylight? Thanks

Someone save me an expensive mistakes :p Can someone compare the lume brightness on the new Milguass vs Maxi dial (on GMT IIc would be great) I am a lume freak. And though I like the Milgauss, weak lume would be a deal killer for me. So, is the lume on the Milgauss closer to GMT IIc's? or closer to something like the Sub or SD?

Fantastic watch, beautiful pics. Question: how brite is lume? I was in a local watch shop and tried on BALL Engineer and couldn\'t see any glow from the tubes. I compared it to Seiko Black Monster and really there was no comparison... the Seiko glowed in shop, and the BALL even w/ my hands cupped over it close to my eye showed no real glow.
