After the acquisition of a couple of other pedal, I am thinking about starting to exploring making multiple pedal effects chains to be able to a variety of synth and nice combination for experimentation. I know very little about this, and the effects of lowpass filters, filters, ring modulators and what not so I am unsure if this is something I will be able to pursue successfully as it appears ...

I regretfully write to inform the craigslist community that I have decided to part with my Moogerfooger MF-101 lowpass filter. It's practically brand new and comes with the EP-2 expression pedal that can be assigned to any of the pedal's parameters. It also comes with the moog power supply. If you know moog, you know about this pedal. The filter in the MF-101 is the replicated filter found...

It was a good read, especially your second post (#32). Too bad it didn't get a proportionally thought out response. For those of you interested: http://forums.wo rldofwarcraft.com/thr ead.html?topicId=2133 3888523&sid=1

I've been toying around with the idea of getting the ACG filter preamp. I don't know if i want to totally rely on a filter for my "pre-amp head" tone. Is there any outboard units with low pass and high pass filters (preferably pedal sized)? This way I could have both? I know I could probably rig something up if need be. but it would obviously be easier and possibly cheaper to just buy one if ...

Hi, i am trying to meaure the speed of a motor . I have angular encoders attached to it and hence i get angle data.. i am trying to convert it to speed by derivative method but theres too much noise being added in... i tried using filters( lowpass butterworth) to filter the noise out , still theres too much noise.. and plus an offset gain by the filter.. all of these are in ...

Color me interested as well, on the simple version at least. Freq/Res knobs and a Pole-switch. maybe a mix and or output volume would be cool too. Or both in a clean vol/filter vol format

Michael 123, The second trial is to me the best one in terms of impulse response. Minimum phase + alias + band limited gives what has been shown by Wombat. No pre ringing and limited post ringing. The added lowpass filter still decreases the pulse duration. But of coarse ads some attenuation an as a phase inpact. The third one is probably irrelevant as it does'nt remove anything, ...

Yeah, they can also produce toothache though, so a Lowpass filter always helps to tame those beasts ---- http://www.simonstockhausen.com http://www.audiosparx.com/Sampleconstruct http://www.absynthsounds.com

Well, excuse me, I just tried to explain how it works. I didn't mean to sound arrogant or condescending, really. I just stressed the importance of difference between maximum and constant polyphony. Theoretically, YES, if you use three oscillators, and use one filter instead of two, and use no effects, yes, you'll have around 75 oscillators working, but that is rarely the case. If you use a...
