I KNOW my batery is fine because I hooked another car up to the battery, jumped it, and hooked it up to a trickle charger while trying it again....nothing. Same reading error 4.34 volts. Ok I've looked over multiple threads voltage regulator cold weather issues grounds -checked all grounds (by tranny, under battery, under washer reservoir) they are good, and sprayed with deoxit just to make sure. Found some frayed wires under the hood and fixed those up (blue connector in next picture) -new alternator was installed about 12 months ago. -battery is about 16 ...

Hi, My home, built in the 1970's, has electric heat. The baseboard heaters contain their own transformers and controls with light wiring to 24V thermostats. I want to replace some of the baseboard heaters because of rust, but I cannot find anything except those with "line-voltage" thermostats that would require a lot of rewiring to install. Do you know if the type of electric baseboards using a ...

If you use electrical tape on low-voltage jobs please stop! I'm not joking. Using electrical tape has be one of the most naive actions possible. Rarely, if ever, is electrical tape a proper method. I'm sorry for the rant; but I've been fixing a lot of jobs lately where other companies have gone MIA and they all used nasty electrical tape. I'm tired of cleaning up the mess.

Last night I had a verry long drive home at less than 5MPH (3 1/2 Hrs). Noticed that my volt meter was dropping had headlights heater on. the alternator should keep up with that shouldn't it?? I shut every thing off and let it run at high idle, voltage came up a little. now today voltage seemed very low agian even at freeway speeds. any ideas??

Greetings! I have isolated my no-power problem to a bad low voltage transformer on the control board. Is that a replaceable part, or do I have to buy a new control board? Thanks for your assistance! Jay

Hi, I read on the internet that phenom 2s like low voltage ram and that 1333 MHz ram with tight timings is faster then 1600 MHz ram. So I was looking at this ram http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=8&subcat=1 516 I've had no problems with OCZ but the patriot has slightly lower timings. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=8&subcat=1 516 I haven't used this make, so is it ...

Having a weird problem with my 98 Mustang 3.8L, Auto. When in drive or reverse the voltage drops to the lower portion of the "N" in Normal for the battery voltage. I just replaced the alternator and had it tested twice before i put it in, it passed. I figured it was the battery, had it tested, it was a little low so i replaced it with a duralast gold but it still does it. As soon as i give it gas...

I have a electrical outlet that just stopped working I checked voltage and it reads 78 volts. do you know what it could be? thanks for any help. Answer Hi. When you get funny voltage readings, it's because a white neutral wire came loose. The reading is feedback. Check all the white wires. If any wires are pushed in the back of the outlet, move them to the screws on the sides. Check ...

VCDS has an alternator load percentage field. Find it and scan the car while varying Electrical loads are put on it. Rear defogger, fan on high, headlights and such. "the headlights would go brighter as I put a load on it." Electrical load (see above) or a torque load on the engine (hill climb, acceleration)? Electrical load increase? How? What did you turn on? Do the VCDS alternator load scan ...
A few months ago it was a pita to come by with them, and now is even worse I believe. Try looking on eBay perhaps? I got mine from there back in October. I think they might even be EOL as it seems. Whenever I saw them in webshop, they were out of stock, some of them state they won't be getting them anymore. I guess they had too small yields and given the fact DDR2 is legacy, probably we ...

You don't have the jumper block connected. You need to have the green test mode connectors connected as well as the jumper block, which for your model year I believe is clear in color.
