I'm in the process of going through literally thousands of photos that I've archived on high quality cd's and dvd's . I just printed a pic of my grandson and my son's deceased Golden Retriever that was captured on a 2 MP camera, and the original photo was blurry to boot. I salvaged the image by processing in software and rendering like a "painting" so it looks like it was painted in oil and ...

I am in the process of creating a calendar using iPhoto '08. However, some of the pictures that I have added have a low resolution warning in the top right corner. I have tried cropping the photos, fitting the photo to frame size, zooming out, and reverting the photo to the original copy (all the things they told me to do on the Apple website), but the yellow yield signs are still not...

preferably with USB connection :-). My point is, people who sell monitors always advertise how their gadgets are high resolution, lotsa colors etc, and presumably all that quality costs money to make. Even outfits like the $100 laptop are jumping through hoops to make a decent quality monitor at a low price. Now, suppose all I want to use the monitor for is reading text and writing text (...

Hi, I have Optoma projector (HD65) with a native resolution of 1280x720, which I mainly use for showing digital still photos. I usually connect my projector with my laptop, which has a screen resolution of 1400x900. The photos I show have been cropped to 1047x720 which still is within the limit of both my laptop and projector resolution, and the result is quite good. Now I wonder if I should buy...

Hi all Please help! I have a samsung sync master 793s monitor. I had to reinstall XP, formatting the PC. Now the screen resolution is at its lowest, looks all pixeled up. When i go to display settings, the slider is at its lowest and wont let me move it. The color is also at 4 bit or something and cannot be changed. Do i need some sort of drivers and where can i get them? Thanks

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What are the pixel dimensions of the photos you are using? TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto ...

Typically you can change the output resolution for your projector for a secondary monitor. What you see on screen will be different than what you see on your laptop screen, but you can match the resolution between your projector and the secondary output on the laptop. It is a misconcpetion by MANY that the resolution of your laptop monitor is the same as the output on the VGA connection for ...

Nobody said you can't put it back to a more workable resolution once you're done with it. Sometimes low tech is more efficient than some fangled automagic solution. Also, if you've got 1000 text boxes on a form or report, you're probably doing it in a "sub-optimal" fashion.
