Not sure if anyone planning on using longlife, bristol in the very near future, but i asked them to quote for a our cooper S exhaust a few weeks back. As it happens, we got through the MOT with the corroded one so not bothering. They have just mailed me however, saying that if i go in short notice (ie tomorrow or friday) they will discount the exhaust by 35%. A big saving if anyonr fancies ...

Well after being overly excited this morning and driving to long life can the disapointment that my flexpipe is on the way out and the internals of my cat had disintegrated. And possibly have a leak from somewhere. I got over that disapointment and then found another as Longlife had pre made my silencer. I totally understand this part though as the rest of the process took over 4 hours in...

Has anyone had experience with Longlife custom made exhausts? My exhaust is about to give up and I'm after a replacement. I dont want it loud but just nice if you know what I mean. What other makes would anyone recommend for a mk3 16v in standard tune. Milltek, Scorpion, Remus, etc. Discuss.

Just had a custom stainless exhaust fitted to my 112CDI De-catted with 'sport tone' with 4" tailpipe - sounds absolutely MINT! If anyone is thinking about getting a new custom exhaust fitted, go and see these guys - service was quality and reasonable price. Apparently Pro-Speed in Cardiff ain't so good and Power Flo use supplied silencers unlike Longlife who custom build everything....

I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to replace 20% of my crankcase oil capacity with MMO, whilst using Mobil 1 0W-40. I do this with other oils (namely Motorcraft Premium Synthetic Blend 10W-30 and Fuchs Titan SuperSyn LongLife 5W-30) up to 25% capacity, but M1 0W-40 is a very robust oil and mixing anything with it (other than Delvac 1 5W-40) will affect its additive package. This is not...
