Liquidity follows transparency. Securities of Pink Sheets companies that provided current disclosure to the public markets either through a regulator or directly to Pink OTC Markets represented 80.2% of all the dollar volume traded in 2008 http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS14 6519+09-Feb-2009+MW20090209

IDIX Liquidity and Cash Usage [Updated for 3Q09 results.] During the next few quarters, IDIX expects cash burn to creep up slightly due to commencement of new clinical trials for IDX184, IDX375, and IDX316. It would seem as if the added liquidity which shows up in added volume has been bad for the stock as the lower volume days seem to be the days where the stock has been able to hold its ground. When the volume is higher the stock price seems to react negatively.

Smartone, Market is pulling back because liquidity is going to be evaporated soon. Fed was keeping money supply to unprecedented level which is going to be effected in coming month. Second companies are making some and in some cases more money so PPT thinks market can now stand on its own (just a theory) but consumers are in shock so real spending is not what it would be. Under these ...

There have been several recent comments about the difficulty of getting REIT preferred shares bought/sold in a liquid manner.
