Can you kindly indicate if LIGHTSCRIBE is supported within iMac 24 inch CD/DVD burner, so I can laser burn image onto lightscibe CD/DVDs? I saw on Windows, my niece burned DVD with B&W image on face of DVD using LightScribe. I was curious if the iMac (and for that matter the iBook) also has CD./DVD support to do that (rahter than PRINTING with printer onto DVD) ? THANKS!...

Hi all, Here's the situation: I upgraded to Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit from Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit. I have the most current drivers for everything and really have no problems except for: A. My HP Lightscribe DVD player will read some game discs but not others. B. Windows Media Player 12 doesn't read any music cd's at all. In both instances, the DVD doesn't ...

I have been playing around with the new version of Microstudio on my home project studio computer. I took a lightscribe disc {brown in color on top} and burned my song titles on it. Then flipped it over and went to import my CDG's with microstudio with it, and it said it does not accept DVD media??? can't use a lightscribe disc with the new version of microstudio? and it wasn't a DVD disc???

I have just recorded 73 mins of audio from WMA files on to a LightScribe CD-R but Vista thinks it is blank, twice! It opened in my library's XP and plays in its WMP 11 OK but lacks titles. And they open in my CD player OK. I have made an audio LightScribe CD-R with Roxio Creator that comes with the PC that opens in WMP OK but it also lacks titles. The center of the ...

This is strange. The drive is a Samsung sh s223Q Lightscribe SATA version. Have had zero problems with the drive reading or ripping everything I have put in it. Just picked up Left 4 Dead 2 on sale, put it in the drive. Appears to be reading for quite a while, then finally stops without the install starting. Also tried to just open the dvd and run from the exe file, but drive finds 0 bytes on ...

I kind of agree with you and usually I follow the same policy that you do. The only reason I did what I did is due to the purchase of a laptop with Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I liked the 64bit thing a lot so decided to upgrade both the desktop to 7 and 64 bit and since I have an "in" with Microsoft and the cost was acceptable I decided to bite the bullet and just do it. I will continue to ...
