So which are you actually taking - "citalopram", which is marketed as Celexa, or "EScitalopram", which is the Lexapro. I have taken the Celexa in the past and it made me feel terrible. So I was switched to Lexapro and once the minor initial side effects were gone (yawning for me) it works wonders!

He was sent to another hospital where they have a psych unit. He was taken off the Lexapro and Xanax and put on Depakote. I haven't seen him yet so don't know how he's doing. Will let you know when I find out something. Thanks, Daf

Hey Tash, yeah it is a bit trial and error. I started on Eleva (sertraline) and although the doctor said he'd had a lot of success with them, they made me ill. I'm taking Celepram (citalopram) now and it's working ok, the side effects aren't as bad. A miracle drug would be good wouldn't it. PS - I wish I'd put on 10kilos, I could do with the extra weight!
