Guy at work wants a pistol, so he offered me his 1970 Marlin 336 with a new $50 scope, 18 rounds of ammo, and a soft case for $200. Great bore, some dings in the wood. I shot her yesterday (first shot direct center bulleye at 20 yards) and she worked as she should have. Bought her today. Now I need to decide if I want to sell her to finance something else (maybe a lever action .38/357 mag or a...

They ended up showing several rifles tricked out with rail system forearms stuck on them. So, here are my two ...

I have a nice Browning .22 lever action which belonged to my father. I haven't shot it much, but decided to break it out and use it. Nice little rifle. Light and handy with a short lever throw. Now the question. Can the trigger be worked on by a gunsmith and slicked up some? The trigger is a little stiff compared to my bolt action rifles. Advice would be appreciated.

I have the .454 Casull carbine. It is the only rifle they make with a factory rubber butt pad. I love it. It shoots at 100 yards with NO problems. Great rifle, great fit/finish. I was surprised at how thin the barrel was at the crown though. But it is a brute!!! It is the only .454 Casull lever I know of.

Still looking forward to seeing the evidence that Winchester Model 94 receivers were cast instead of forged during the time period in question (1964 through 1983). ...
