Hey, I bought a brand new coolant level sensor a few months ago and got send the wrong one. I ended up just going to the dealer because I didn't want to bother getting my refund. Just wondering if anybody is having the same issue that I am having; the coolant level sensor not operating as it should. Since I bought the car, the coolant level sensor has been disconnected and never tripped a coolant level low warning on the MID. I've followed the harness back to the firewall and found no obvious signs of frayed or cut wiring. I ...

On the driver side front wheel well there is a sensor/arm/bracket/clip that attaches to a piece of the suspension to detect suspension movement so it can adjust the headlight. Does someone have a picture or can you explain which piece this links to?

It is Saturday, and my 67 and I are spending some quality time together, finally. Here is my question. My oil tank does not have a oil level sensor, though the wiring is there based on a 67 wiring diagram. It must plug in elsewhere. Hollywood speedo is reworking the gage to include the indicator but now for the sensor installation. I bought one from ******** and it corresponds with a ...

Guys, I'm new to the E39 M5 world. More experienced with E46s. Anyhow, can someone confirm whether the part on the picture (leaky oil sensor me thinks) is the same as #9 on the real oem diagram below? Actually, looking at it, it doesn't look like the part on the diagram. I think I need to replace the o-ring for whatever that part is... Any ideas? thanks! [IMG]...

JUst wondering if the sensor off of a 95-01 4.0 v6 will fit into the oil pan hole on a 91-94 ohv? I am in the process of installing a second gen message center into my 92, and it needs to connect to this sensor. My alldata and ford service dvd both tell me that there is one sensor with two wires connecting to it...A W/PK wire for the low oil level indicator, and a DG/W wire for the oil temp for...

Lately my oil level/temp sensor has been on the fritz, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. There will be times when I drive for a while (20-30mins) and the oil temps stays at 0, and the car seems to be down on power. I will get it replaced, just wondering if anyone knows if the ECU changes timing based on oil temp readings? Maybe it's all in my head, but it seems ...

Targa Man, Texas has a lot of "P" cars, but Texas is a big place and you might find more cows than Porsches in some areas... Here in Fredericksburg we only have 4 or 5, but in Austin and San Antonio the PCA Club is well represented. The Austin "Hill Country PCA" earlier this summer had over 60 cars on a tour. Also we have a very dedicated DE contingent. So come ahead... Y'all.
