( I am almost 7 weeks out and I am still feeling lethargic a lot of the time. The only thing I can come up with is that I am not doing any carbs to speak of I guess. I had done the Adkins diet a few years ago and this is exactly how I felt. If my body needs carbs, what kind of "good carbs" do you all suggest??? It's hard enough to fit in much food at all \(protein\) let alone adding ...

Aaron and I went to visit my parents in Pennsylvania over Thanksgiving. It's a 3.5-hour trip, and the trip there took 7 hours (ugh). Aaron was fine, though. Slept the whole way, and was very energetic the whole weekend. We drove back to Virginia yesterday; about 4 hours. He slept most of the way, but when he was awake, he was drooling and belched once or twice. I gave him a ginger ...

And he's been sleeping all day,not eating normally and his cheeks are flushed.  I called the pediatrician ...

My 4 year old has decided he doesn't need to eat breakfast. HA! Yea freaking right. With diabetes on my side of the family, and the fact that he is a horribly grumpy (more like pissy and snippy) and lethargic 4 year old when he doesn't eat, he NEEDS to eat breakfast. Plus, he's not allowed to go to school without breakfast (school is from 12-3, with a snack around 2:30). I will make him stay ...
