Hi everyone, My husband has just applied for his first UK job (our only chance to get over now). I've looked at a couple visa websites and haven't found my answer (so much to read!), does anyone know how long a UK employer is required to look/advertise within the UK before they can contemplate hiring outside of the UK? Thanks, ~ER~

My MacBookPro has a bad DC powerboard, and I have an Applecare extended warranty, but it's taken them going on a month to get it fixed. They started by denying the problem existed, finally accepted there's an issue but refused to fix it, I mentioned the word lawyer and they sent me a call tag, they had the computer for a week and returned it after replacing everything but the DC powerboard, took ...

Once again it's time for me to step away for a bit... get more stuff done at work, home, etc. I wish I had the capability of just posting every few days; but my addictive personality just doesn't allow for that... if I don't resolve to stay 100% away from the board for a length of time; I will end up spending hours a day here. During this time I'll continue with my DVD watching; going through ...

Whether the trait stays in the population depends not only on chance, but also whether the new trait is adaptive, maladaptive or neutral....

Withers - thank you for responding. I do hope that T-Mobile can provide the simple solution with the choice of a standard North American 2/4 On/Off ring cycle. In the mean time, I have done a bit more research, and maybe you can validate this . Some googling indicated that the WRTU54G-TM router uses the Infineon VINETIC-0/-CL (PEB33322) chipset for the SLIC (Subscriber Line Interface ...

However, they indicated there wasn't much they can do, since it's actually TMOBILE that writes the firmware for TM branded router. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with TMOBILE and LINKSYS tech support, explaining that the ring cycle is generated by the router box. When ...
