If you are missing a layer of information, you have corrupted (bad) install. Best to manually uninstall your game and re-install. you are not the first one to whom this happened, albeit i a rare occurance.

Hi John - just checked to see how close you were to all that flooding in Duncun. Looks like you're on the other side of the channel, but there must have been at least some local issues with all those retaining dykes in the area unless you didn't get the same combo of melt and high waters. I don't know what specs your Asus came with, but Windows 7 is the most greedy operating system yet. It needs about 1.75 gbs of RAM just to keep the screen active with a proportionate increase in power requirements and resultant heat, if your ASUS has less than 2gbs RAM or too small a CPU perhaps it just couldn't sustain the increased demands W7 makes on a system and has burned out its circuits ...
