I'm looking for a way to do "left align across selection". Similar to the "center across selection" function that allow the user to format a cell that contains multiple lines of text when "wrapped" and the I do not want to merge cells to fit the text. The current option of "center across selection" allows the user to refrain from merging cells, but is not ideal for paragraph block text ...

Is there layout technique to nicely align a floatSliderGrp to the left side of a window? I've tried a bunch of approaches and the best I can do is get the label aligned on the left, with the field and slider stuck in the middle of the window. I know this can be done w/text and connected fields and sliders, but I'd prefer to use the floatSliderGrp if possible. Thx.

I don't know why by my input boxes won't align to the left. They stay centered. But I don't have CSS which is making them that way. It's just the default comment html. To centre stuff, just make all the controls equally wide (Format - Align - Left and then Format - Size - To Widest) and then hit the centre alignment button. Centering vertically on a page isn't something databases do well since typically, the depth of the page will depend greatly on the data you're printing... which would normally be different every time you print. Just align to the top.

it's done in your css. You probably have text-align: justify set and want text-align: left that's all I can tell ya without a link
