I just want to know even though I never got around to installing any mods for Left 4 Dead and proly won't now that Left 4 Dead 2 is out, but what was with those anyway and the same goes for Unreal 3 and Half Life 2

Interesting article here by pcgameshardware.com stating that in benchmarks, the censored version of the L4D2 demo (distributed in Australia and some other regions) runs 40% faster than the uncut version when using the same hardware. The article poses the question of whether players running the censored version of L4D2 will have any unfair advantages when playing with/against those running...

SO, who else has played it? I think it's quite good, but that's the first time I've played any Left 4 Dead. Random Question: Who is your favorite character this time around? I personally like Ellis, as he reminds me of myself somewhat.

The demo came out yesterday on Steam and Xbox Live, and... i thought it was pretty awesome. It seems a lot more gritty and serious, a good step forward for the game. Was wondering what you guys thought of it.
