Just curious what everyone's fastest laps are in the WSGT mod cars at the Le Mans 2004 revived edition track. I just did a few hot laps in the Gulf DBR9 and with minimal setup changes (gearing, wings) I've gotten down to a 3:47.1, but with suspension and diff tuning I could probably go a bit quicker, the car does feel very stable though. How much faster are the Mclaren and the F50 GT1?...

A few shots I was able to capture while at Le Mans this year. By far, the furthest (distance) from the track that Ive used the S3. What do you think? what could I have done to improve these? Dunno if you can pull the data off them since they've been put on Picasa. From the tribunes: A top a hill, headed into Tertre Rouge Apex of Tertre Rouge Atop the carting complex ...

A "did you know" moment- In 1975 Michele Mouton-yes, the Audi Sport WRC driver-did compete in the 1975 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of an all female driving team in a car called the Monet LM75-Simca entered by Esso, which also won the S2.0(now LMP2) class. Link here(yes, her name is mis-spelled here): http://www.racingsportscars.co....html Chernaudi(Cher 'n' Audi): Fan of Cher and Audi ...

Bernhard/Dumas Wrap up LMP2 Drivers title; Bergmeister/Henzler win GT2 crown The Porsche RS Spyder/Acura prototype pilots battle in LMP2 and the rivalry between the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and the Ferrari 430 drivers in GT2, a season-long affair, ended happily for the German sports car manufacturer as Penske Racing and Flying Lizard Motorsports drivers took their Porsches to year-end American Le...

A bit early, I know, but is anyone taking their MG to Le Mans next year? I've been at Le Mans the last 8 years but never seen more than a smattering of MG's. I'll be taking my TF for the first time in '09. Cheers, AG

This is part 2 to the part 1 thread (http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=63 8514) I started on the actual race pics from Petit Le Mans this past weekend. Part of what I love so much about the event is what comes to show up to watch the race as well, vendor village area, and the good looking women . I was blown away at some of the sick cars I saw while I was there. It never ...

I have so many pictures from this year's Petit Le Mans weekend that I think I've overdone it lol. But I decided to separate the pics so 200 high res pictures wouldn't be loading into one thread all together. Great time this year that's for sure. Here are pictures from the SPEED World Challenge races and the actual 10 hour race itself the next day. Part 2 thread: http://www.s2ki.com/...

Personally I don't see a negative with the late driver changes, unless you thought the #30 addition will prevent them from winning??? Looking forward to seeing how the P2 battle develops though...and what Audi has in reserve
