I'm having an odd photoshop problem: I'm working on a vectorish drawing using the pen tool to lay down shape layers of 100% opaque colors. It was fine when I last turned it off, now one entire folder of shape layers (all my "Skin" tones) is about 50% opaque. The layer properties still say opacity is at 100%. A. WTF? B. Hi I have a layer with 50% opacity and two adjustment layers above it affecting the Brightness and Contrast & Color Balance. When I merge them together, the Color Balance layer disappears, does anyone know why and how I can stop this ? Thanks N

What Media / Software / Drives have people had the best luck burning dual layer media with? How well do they handle the layer break hassle? We work with a few different vendors for 24/48 port gig+poe switches. I used a lot of Cisco 3550/3750s at the old job, they work fine. They are expensive however and if its just poe and vlans, its not really necessary. When Juniper released the EX switches, the friend at the old job loved them. No need to lock the layers. Keep the layered Photoshop (.psd file) for future editing, and Save a Copy as a flattened format for your intended use. The filetype for the flattened format depends on its use and medium.
