Ok, I lost my last thread of where I found cheap henna and indigo. Kalyx.com Henna Red Powder (Lawsonia inermis) 1 lb: C for $8.25 plus 9$ for shipping. Here I have a pict of Jamilla VS the stuff I bought from them. it came in one large silver bag marked starwest botanticals As you can see the Jamilla is definetly darker green. And the Kalyx stuff has bits of plant. They both has ...

HENNA Henna plant (scientifically known as Lawsonia Inermis) is well known for long time in the Arab and Muslims world, extensively grown in India and Sudan and used mainly for cosmetic purposes. Over the last many years I have used Henna as medicine after I read the Hadith about it that the Prophet (PUH) ordered any one who has been pricked by a thorn or has an ulcer on his leg to put ...

Be patient, keep taking care of your hair. Cassia is not permanent. It will fade away. As for lawsonia, that's henna, right? It is permanent. However, if you only did it once and it was mixed with cassia, chances are that it will gradually fade away, too. I did one henna treatment to my hair about 10 years ago, hated it, let it grow out. It took months, but it did fade away. Do some warm ...

The most wanted fragrant plant for me is Magnolia X wieseneri (Magnolia watsonii), which is said to be the most fragrant Magnolia. It seems that no one on the West Coast is selling this plant, so I may have to go get one on the East Coast. There are several other plants I'd like to try, including Buddleja paniculata, Diospyros armata, Lawsonia inermis, and Rondeletia splendens. Unfortunately,...

Sharon, I would bet you could get something close to that with multiple full-head applications of Yemeni body art quality henna. What's your starting color? Also, you could take a test section (cut it or use a hairball from your brush) and apply henna to it. Rinse off, let it dry, let it oxidise a few days. A week later, apply henna to it again. Keep applying til you've got your perfect ...

Glad you had fun. In another life I lived in Ripon and played it alot since it was much cheaper then Lawsonia and I was poor then. I played our company league on Lawsonia though but it was only 18 holes instead of 36.
