I just can't get over how insanely beautiful Scarlett Johansson is in this. She should keep away from getting too made-up. Whenever she's at a gala or something, she always looks... I dunno... plastic. Her look in this movie is perfect. Quidquid Latinae dictum sit, altum viditur.

Surely it was all much easier when we could have memoriae during Holy Mass FWIW, 'O Come O Come Emmanuel' is quite often sung, in it's Latin form - and with the verses in the *right* order - as an 'extra' during the sung TLM on the fourth Sunday of Advent, along with 'Rorate' - which I remember also singing in English translation on various occasions. At least in my 'regular' parish. We tend...

The longer you take to write something, the bigger the risk of you ripping something off in the process becomes. You become blind to your own material. Quidquid Latinae dictum sit, altum viditur.

Interesting... I always thought that right-wing meant conservative (keep things the way they have always been), and that left-wing was about change (violent revolution). I guess all the great political thinkers who came before... Debbie Schlussel... were wrong. Quidquid Latinae dictum sit, altum viditur.

No genitals, but everything else, basically. It's also fairly long. It is fairly "intense". I like the scene, not so much for the naked skin (though that is a definite bonus ), but rather for what it represents to the two characters. Also the end of the scene is pretty funny. Well, he could have done that I suppose, but it's never mentioned anywhere. Genetic modification is only referenced in the guise of eugenics, and he's a bit too old for that. Actually, there is no way to tell exactly what would happen if a human being reached the full potential of the species. He's supposed to have done that, basically. What's interesting is that the OP felt that this was such ground-breaking info that it had to be "MUST READ". I'd wager that the OP doesn't even know Batman existed prior to the 1980s. Quidquid Latinae dictum sit, altum viditur.

No, what they wanted was an action car for Batman. Something that would make for exciting car chases, with lots of stuff getting broken and/or exploding. Something to bring in the "Destruction before Content" crowd. Realism had nothing to do with that particular call. When it comes to Batman and Returns , they claimed that everything on the old Batmobile did actually work in real life (...
