Ok.. I'm not sure i'm doing the laterhing right.. I'm wondering if it's because of the VDH.. Using the VDH delux I'm not geting a lather that I've seen in the posts about makign a lather, or in Mantic's video.. by either face lathering, or bowl/mug lathering I have gotten a lather I can shave with.. but it's not like whipped cream, more like cool whip, and like i spread it on with a ...

Since I started wet shaving, I have acquired two brushes that are driving me nuts. As I am applying the lather in circular motions, instead of the lather going on my face, the lather is pushed down towards the knot and eventually on to the handle and my hand. Is this a case of operator error and I am apply the incorrect amount of pressure on the brush? Or do these brushes have some ...

Hi. How do I say that my friend's savon d'alep does not lather. I mean that it just doesn't soap up, like trying to have a bath in the sea. "Il ne mousse pas, ce savon" ? Thanks.

I know, I know. There are a hundred threads about this. This is more to vent than anything else. I've read multiple threads about building lather and cannot for the life of me get the same type of exploding later that everyone else is getting. I can't hit the sweet spot, I always end up with thick, dry lather, or sudsy thin lather. I soak the brush, put some water on the soap,...

Shaving is a drag for me. I do not get consistently get good shaves, and am often left with bad razor burn and redness. I think I have narrowed the reason down to my lather. I've been wet-shaving for over a year now, but I think I still might not be getting the ideal lather. I mostly use soaps and I have almost always face lathered with them. However, I could never get thick lather ...

I can't get my lather together right. How long should it take? I've watched the Mantic videos and it seems that it should only take a minute or two? Is this edited? Here's my routine. I'm preheating a db scuttle shower refill the scuttle with hot water I rinse the brush and give a couple of shakes I load the brush for like 20 turns. I start to bowl lather and it never seems to ...

i don't even watch the cutscenes anymore. does this game ever depart from the "mission, sea salt ice cream, organize panels" formula? the cutscenes and sea salt ice cream scenes are too long, too slow, and too quiet to keep my attention. the game is great though. don't yell at me.

Hey, guys! I have been collecting Gilettes, Merkurs, and straights for the past two years now and I really want to give the "Good" Gem razors a try. I own the micromatic, but I didn't like it that much(It's not open comb), but I really want to try the 1912. If anyone is willing to let one go, please shoot me a PM. I don't use Ebay, so I am asking here. Thank you!!

Alright... I want to ask you guys something... Actually, I NEED to ask you guys something! Now I have my own homemade scuttle, basically a porcelain bowl inside another bigger porcelain bowl. I've tried with hot and boiling water, and almost every single time I get the same results... my later starts turning to foamy bubbles, sometimes requiring me to make a whole new batch, which isn't...

Check out the new Moss scuttle that arrived last night. Used it this morning for the first time and it kept the lather nice and warm. The pictures really don't do it justice. It is a rich, cobalt blue.

It has been an evening. Johnathon has been a little stinker. First he decided to go in his room, get his stepstool and get the lotion off of his dresser and lather up his hands. I cleaned him up and started working on homework. Then he found the Baby Vicks, which was on his dresser as well (in a box). He lathered his hands with that. It took 5 minutes of soap and water to get that off of him, ...

Hello, About a month ago I happened upon a TV infomercial that had the actress Melissa Gilbert in it...She was touting this new revolutionary hair product that did not lather like our conventional shampoos. This interested me, being that I am a licensed cosmetologist, and we are generally taught that harsh chemicals only hurt and strip the hair. So, I thought, sounds ...

I bought BioGroom protien shampoo. You are supposed to dilute it by 4 to 1. Does anyone else use this? I find I have to use quite a bit to get a good lather, anyone else have this problem?
