You gotta love Scottish thinking .. A major International company was looking to hire someone for an important position, so they interviewed dozens of applicants and narrowed their search down to three people from different parts of the world. In an attempt to pick one of them, they decided to give them all the same question to answer within 24 hours, and the one with the...

Motivated by the collection of lateral thinking puzzle books I've collected for a while, here are a few of my own. These require a lot of yes/no questions. Ok, so Wtf?! is apparently on some sort of hiatus from GW, so I might as well start this now. Rules 1) I ask a question, you answer it. Sounds simple, no? Wrong. These questions are difficult and often vague. You must ask questions to determine enough facts to answer the question. 2) In each post you may either ask questions or post ...

You have 30 gold coins but one is counterfeit and lighter than a real coin. The only equipment you have is a simple pair of balance scales. What is the least number of weighings necessary to discover the counterfeit coin?

He'll definitely be reading this . . . we all know he gets onto BF if only to vote in the BigFooty medal and give himself 5 every time. Now. Here's my suggestion. Whenever someone takes a mark inside the 50, Fev makes sure he's the closest player, then the marking player falls over like he'...
